I feel compelled to call attention to one major story that unfolded after I received this update from SAR, though anyone reading this entry is almost surely aware of it.  In Myanmar, on Saturday, November 13 Aung San Suu Kyi was released from house arrest.  Here’s an article on her first public comments since then.
